CBES were tasked with designing, fabricating, and fitting a 6 meter long heavy beam under the shaft cap to strengthen the structure following the installation of a new goods lift motor. The works involved designing a 3 piece beam, fabricating, lifting operations and fitting it to the underside of the lift top slab.
