OTIS care homes,

Lift installation

For the various care homes under OTIS, we completed a number of tasks. We removed the existing hydraulic lifts, and completed building works to comply with British standards for care homes. Due care and consideration was taken when erecting the hoardings. Some of the  recent care homes that we have completed work for are: The Paddock in Muswell Hill London, Epworth Court in Swindon, Moreton Care Home in Exmouth, Walcot Care Home in Bath.

Imperial Hotel Torquay

Imperial Hotel, Torquay

Lift removal & new installation

Project budget: £120,000

Duration: 10 Weeks

When the luxury Imperial Hotel in Torquay contacted us we were faced with an interesting challenge. We at CBES group were contracted to remove three lift shafts from within the hotel so that Schindler Lifts could install new lifts. The challenge arose because the hotel would remain running whilst our project was being carried out. This meant the project needed to be carried out in such a way that would cause minimum disruption to the clients of the hotel. The time frame was scheduled at 10 weeks to the value of £120,000 and we are happy to report that the project was finished on time and within budget.

Lift Replacement

CBES has recently completed a 6 stop lift replacement at St. George House, Bristol for a housing charity, People For Places. This was a challenging project as there were shaft size constraints and restricted access. The work was completed on time despite several setbacks caused by small shafts and limited access.

4 Lift Shaft Refurbishments

CBES has recently completed a £350k refurbishment program for NB Real Estate at the Crescent Centre, Bristol. This was a difficult project as some of the existing lifts had to be kept operational while new lifts were fitted. There were also noise constraints which meant that work had to be undertaken out of hours. The Project was completed under budget and 4 weeks a head of schedule.
